Privacy and data handling in this local Auwin draft
Scope of this note
This note describes the local editing version in the auwin-local folder. It is not the privacy policy of an Auwin operator and does not describe how a casino processes account or payment information. No public operator identity, production domain, business address or editorial contact has been assigned to this draft. Those details must be settled before a production privacy notice can be completed.
No account collection
The editing copy does not provide registration, login, payment or withdrawal services. Source scripts and inline event handlers have been removed, account inputs are disabled, and source navigation is prevented. Do not submit passwords, payment details or identity documents to the copy. The visible account controls are part of a saved design and are not connected to an account backend.
Local requests and logs
Images, styles and fonts required for the saved design are held in the local assets folder. Opening the preview through a local server causes browser requests to that server, and the server may write ordinary access logs. Those local logs are distinct from a production analytics service. A first-party visit beacon and affiliate redirect are prepared for the Pages runtime; the static preview cannot execute them.
Links to other organisations
Editorial links to organisations such as ACMA and Gambling Help Online are available for checking information. Following one leaves the local guide and makes a request to the other organisation’s website. Its own privacy and cookie practices then apply. The presence of a reference link does not mean that organisation endorses this project.
Source captures and retained files
Original rendered HTML and screenshots are retained separately as editing references. They may contain the source website’s old addresses, scripts or promotional wording and should be inspected as reference files. They are not the sanitised preview and should not be copied into a public publishing folder without review. The asset manifest records where downloaded files came from and any unsuccessful download.
Before any production release
A production version would require confirmed responsibility for the website, a working contact, an accurate account of hosting logs and any analytics, and applicable retention and rights information. A privacy notice should describe the tools actually used rather than a generic list of possible trackers. See the editorial policy for the current draft’s publication status and the Auwin guide for its content scope.
